How a Energy comparison works

We simply take a copy of your bill and run it through software that is linked to 99.9% of all suppliers. We then pass the results to you. You have no commitment or obligation to proceed, but we can walk you through the process if you decide to change.

IMPORTANT NOTE - LOA (letter of authority).

Before we can compare your bill we will need your signed permission to use your bill data (GDPR regulations) to find alternative savings. (see tricks of the trade)

Tricks of the trade

NO LOA

If you are not asked for your signed permission (LOA -letter of authority), to use your bill data, then its not a real comparison. The supplier will just take your bill and then come back in a few days with the 'right' supplier, obviously the one that makes them the most profit. This is the same with on-line comparisons sites.

BILL SHOCK

Some gas and electricity suppliers will let you fall out of contract so that you will automatically pay a lot more for your energy in the next month/quarter, knowing that you will not know until your 'bill shock'. Then they will 'do a deal' if you renew, at this point you sign, obviously for more than your last contract. NOTE: remember, although you are out of contract and have had a 'bill shock' you are now in control and can move or ask us to negotiate a better cost before you re-sign, even with your existing supplier.
